On average, there are 1,500 stories that could appear in one person’s Facebook News Feed, increasing competition for stories to gain exposure. Ultimately, Facebook’s new update to reduce the overlay of promotional Page posts in News Feed means that brands that post promotional content without paying for it will see a significant decrease in organic reach.
