Facebook has launched Blueprint, a free online learning center geared towards brands and advertising agencies to help improve their ads and ad performance on Facebook. The company also announced a parallel site, aimed just for small businesses on Facebook, called Learn How.
Blueprint combines more than 35 online courses with in-person training and provides certifications for brands that “master” Facebook marketing. The certification would be similar in nature to Google’s certification for AdWords and Analytics, but Facebook has yet to release more information about the process.
Blueprint’s online courses are organized by category (e.g., Campaign Optimization, Advertising Objectives, etc.,) or specific role (e.g., Media Buyer, Media Planner, etc.) Blueprint can be integrated with various learning and development programs and provides reporting to keep track of progress and results.
For Facebook newbies, Learn How is an online learning center offering how-to videos, photos and detailed instructions to frequently asked questions. For example, “How do Facebook ads work?” or “How do I measure my page’s results?” Learn How is organized into simplified guides that can be used to research a topic in depth, or as a reference library to cover questions as they come up.
Marketers should take advantage of these tools to help take their marketing initiatives to the next level. For the pros, Blueprint is a great way to get up to speed on the latest Facebook marketing features and to learn more about supporting your marketing objectives on the platform. For newcomers, Learn How is a great source for some Facebook Marketing 101.
Blueprint eLearning center is available in English on desktop and mobile to all Facebook users. Facebook also announced that courses in other languages would be available later this year. Learn How is available on desktop and mobile in 14 languages through the Facebook for Business Website.
