Geared towards nature-loving New Yorkers, Adventures NYC is a celebration of New York City parks and the great outdoors. Filled with different activities and sponsors, there was a lot to see this year. As a sponsor and participant, the NY Acura Dealer Association was there to demonstrate how the TSX Sports Wagon, MDX, RDX and ZDX are conducive to an active lifestyle.
Jean Nolte, a Product Specialist from Acura, explains, “several of our vehicles at this point are appealing to a more active lifestyle demographic…. People here just love having the kind of space the Acura vehicle offers — with the features, and at the price point that we have.”
The TSX Sports Wagon, MDX, RDX and ZDX come with standard features and accessories that can be applied directly to an active lifestyle. Designed to be utilized on all types of terrain, the Acura Super Handling All-Wheel Drive is an intuitive system that directs the engine’s power based on weight distribution, traction, and other environmental conditions. All the cars have a versatile layout with the ability to move around seats for additional storage and the option to add accessories like roof racks and sport running boards.
Interior options like the cargo liner and cargo tray make it possible to use the vehicles for outdoor activities, but still maintain the luxurious interior. The cargo liner and tray can both be easily cleaned or removed and are designed to protect the interior from spills, wear, and dirt. There are multiple roof rack attachments that were designed for an active lifestyle, including bike, ski, snowboard, surfboard, and kayak carrier options.
