Tier10, a D.C.-based, full-service advertising agency specializing in automotive associations, was named in Inc. magazine’s 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies for the third consecutive year. Tier10 earned its spot on the list for achieving 135% growth over three years. The agency ranked 2,700 overall, 197 in the D.C. area and 169 inVirginia, where headquarters are located.
Co-founder Scott Fletcher explained, “It’s hard to maintain growth year over year, especially at these percentages, and you really can’t do it by accident. [Making the list] really validates that what we do and the services that we provide are truly in demand.”
Founded in 2008, Tier10 also received recognition for its award-winning creative this year. Tier10 received its first 2015 ADDY® Award for the “Behind the Scenes in NYC with the All-New 2015 TLX” video. Tier10’s “2014 Agency Reel” received a 2015 Hermes Creative Award, while an infographic depicting the 19-year career of the New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera was named a 2015 Platinum Winner in the Hermes Creative Awards.
“I think our growth can partially be attributed to the growth in the automotive industry. But mostly to just being really good at what we do and consistently delivering results,” said Scott Rodgers, co-founder and chief creative officer. “Loving what you do and being great at it in a flourishing industry will affect your growth 100% of the time.”
Adding to the tremendous momentum, this year Tier10 became the new agency of record for the Greater Twin Cities Honda Dealers Association and the Gateway Area Acura Dealers Association. Tier10 currently provides support to eight associations, including the Northern Ohio Honda Dealers who were featured in anAutomotiveNews.com article for their successful regional marketing strategy.
“We’re constantly pushing that envelope and trying different things, creatively and strategically,” Fletcher explained. “For us, the heart of what’s next is using data. We want to perfect the delivery of matching the perfect message with the perfect customer. We’re working feverishly to develop this in a scalable way to continue to drive results and be a leader in the vertical.”
