For the second straight year, Washington, D.C.-based advertising agency Tier10 earned a spot on Inc. magazine’s annual list of fastest-growing private U.S. companies.
The automotive-focused agency ranked 1,208 overall on the 2014 Inc. 5000 list, which features privately held companies from various industries. Tier10 also ranked 93rd out of companies in the Washington D.C. metro area and 86th overall in Virginia, the state where it is headquartered.
“Being on the list again is a testament to the great work we do every day,” said Scott Fletcher, co-founder and partner. “It’s been an entertaining journey seeing this agency grow from just two of us to what it is today in such a short time span.”
Founded in 2008, Tier10 was listed on last year’s Inc. 5000 and earned a spot on the 2013 Agency 100. The agency also earned recognition for a successful multi-platform campaign featuring former New York Yankees closer and future Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera. Many notable publications covered the bi-lingual ad campaign including The Wall Street Journal, Autoblog.com and the New York Daily News.
Fletcher and fellow co-founder Scott Rodgers credit the company’s growth on a deliberate strategy that involves a combination of the services to their clients and staying ahead of the curve in a constantly evolving industry.
“I’m a little biased, but I believe our creative sets us apart and has been a main element in fueling our growth,” said Rodgers, Tier10’s chief creative officer. “From day one, and especially in the past year, we haven’t shied away from using untested approaches with new technology to produce the high-level end products our clients expect.”
