Tier10 was named a winner in the 37th Annual Telly Awards. As a first time entrant, Tier10 is the proud recipient of two Silver Telly Award for its “2014 Agency Reel” and “Movie Night” videos, and Bronze Telly Awards for its “New Kid on the Block” and “Aston Martin Racing” videos.
The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring the finest film and video productions, groundbreaking web commercials, videos and films, and outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs.
Tier10’s “2014 Agency Reel” received a Silver Telly Award in the ‘Promotional Branding’ category. The web video gives viewers a quick look back at some of the fun Tier10 had in 2014 creating campaigns for clients, and a look behind-the-scenes of how it is done. The video includes shots from the St. Petersburg Grand Prix, Detroit’s Packard Plant, the Be Legendary: Mariano Rivera campaign, 2015 Portland Auto Show and locations including Chicago, Cleveland, and New York.
“Movie Night” with the 2016 Acura TLX won Silver in the Automotive Commercial category. As part of Tier10’s overarching campaign “Movie Night,” the spot highlights the new TLX within New York City – a place befitting of the luxury brand. “Movie Night” plays off of the popup craze within NYC and showcases a group of young elites sharing a powerful connection in the technology age.
Winning Bronze in Automotive Commercials, “New Kid on the Block,” shows off Honda’s family-friendly brand while showcasing the 2016 Honda Civic and its new, adaptable remodeling with the help of two siblings. As one of the new “kids” in the Honda family, Tier10 emphasizes how the new Civic redefines the standards of the vehicle market.
“Aston Martin Racing”, received a Bronze Telly Award in the ‘Documentary’ category. In March 2015, Tier10’s video team traveled to St. Petersburg, FL and obtained full access to film the TRG-Aston Martin racing team during the Pirelli World Challenge. In under three minutes, they managed to capture the thrill of racing and the uniquely determined spirit of GT racecar driver Christina Nielsen.
The Telly Award Silver Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work – entries do not compete against each other – rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10% of entries are chosen as winners of the Silver Telly, our highest honor with about 25% chosen as winners of the Bronze Telly.
