Tier10 was named a winner in the 14th Annual Davey Awards, receiving three silver awards for its exceptional video production in the Automotive Commercials category. Awarded for works in their “Life is Better” campaign, the ad series aims to demonstrate how Honda’s vehicles can meet a variety of individual needs while embodying customers’ and businesses’ personal passions and values.
In the newest installment of the campaign, Tier10 executes its influencer marketing strategy, partnering with local small businesses and entrepreneurs in their clients’ markets to create connections between the brands and the community and resonate with its consumers.
Produced for the Northern Ohio Honda Dealers Association (NOHDA), the 2018 Honda Pilot commercial features Petitti Garden Center, a local Northeast Ohio gardening business committed to growing a better world and giving back to their community and its owner Angelo Petitti. The ad demonstrates how the adaptability of the 2018 Pilot allowed them to grow their business while achieving their goals.
Tier10’s second win for the NOHDA features the 2018 Civic, along with Cleveland Flea founder Stephanie Sheldon. The Flea is a small business incubator that draws upon the city’s best creators as a way of facilitating authentic connections between makers and the shoppers who love them. The ad demonstrates how the hardworking 2018 Civic provides the creators with everything they need to thrive.
Produced for the Northwest Honda Dealers Association, Tier10’s third win features Portland-based coffee shop Coava Coffee Roasters, a small shop that prides itself on its honest and sustainable sourcing of coffee beans, and its owner Matt Higgins with the 2018 Civic. The ad demonstrates how the hardworking and thoughtful crafting of the 2018 Civic reflects Coava’s own business ethics.

It honors the creativity of “Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than the industry “Goliaths” wielding big budgets. The Davey Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA), an invitation-only organization of top-tier professionals from the highest acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.
